No experience is required to take part in our paint events.  All you need is a desire to have fun, take a break from the troubles of your day, and connect to God through creativity.  Remember to RSVP.

SUPPLIES & INSTRUCTIONS:  

  • ON THE CREATIVE SIDE:  

    • One 11x14 canvas, or larger if you're feeling bold

    • Acrylic Paint:  Cadmium red (medium hue), white, black, and neutral gray (black and white should not be mixed to make gray)

    • Brushes:  One 3/4 inch straight top brush, one 1/2 inch straight or angled brush, and two small pencil tipped brushes that have a good point to them

    ON THE PRACTICAL SIDE:

    • Newspaper or plastic to cover the area on and around which you will be painting

    • Old plastic or glass container for water

    • Old rags to wipe up spills

    • 2 or 3 Paper plates to use as a palette

    • 2 large pieces of aluminum foil

    • 15 Q-tips

    • 3 rubber bands

    • 1 old business card

Joannes Fabric and Michaels Crafts allows for online ordering and curbside pickups.  If you prefer to shop in a store, supplies can be purchased at Walmart or Ocean State Job Lot. 

Acrylic paint stains clothing and surfaces, so please wear old clothing or an apron while painting, and cover your painting surface with plastic or newspaper
