Jesus instructed us to love our neighbor as ourself and to feed the hungry and clothe the naked. We as a church family, demonstrate our love through caring, serving, and giving.
It’s clear in the teachings of Jesus that love looks like something and as a family of Christ followers it’s an honor and privilege to show love to our community. On August 13th, our love looked like free food, clothes, school supplies, backpacks, car washes and prayer.
Love is the most powerful thing in the world. Victor Hugo once said, “Life’s greatest happiness is to be convinced we are loved.” We are helping our community be convinced that they are loved and therefore they can love others deeply and richly.
We are In The City, For the City.
